Graffiti found on Squires Elementary, nearby neighborhood

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Fayette County Public Schools has confirmed that someone vandalized Squires Elementary overnight.

School officials say they found graffiti in various places around the school, including a message spray-painted on the front glass doors of the building.  No word on the content of the message.

Lexington Police say there were also several instances of vandalism in the surrounding neighborhood along Hunting Hill Drive.  According to police, juveniles were involved in the vandalism.  No information on charges in the incidents.

Officials say most of the graffiti around the school has been cleaned up.
