Goodwill to hold expungement clinic for jobseekers
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s the opportunity for those with a criminal record to have a clean slate.
Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is holding an expungement clinic on Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Voices of Hope on North Vine Street in Lexington.
Participants will learn about the expungement process, and can begin filling out the paperwork needed to get certain charges expunged from their record.
This is one of six clinics taking place around Kentucky as a part of Second Chance Month. It is a nationwide effort to help people with prior arrests have a chance to re-enter the workforce.
