GOLDEN ALERT CANCELLED: Lexington woman found

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police are reporting that they have found Jo Albertson.

According to officers, she is safe and sound.

The Lexington Police Department has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Lexington woman.

Officers say 75-year-old Jo Albertson was last seen at Good Samaritan Hospital on Monday.

Investigators say she has dementia and limited mobility, and that she left the hospital prior to being admitted.

Albertson is described as being 5 foot 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with white hair, and sometimes wears glasses.

She is from Lexington, but family members tell police they recently moved her to Jackson Co. to help care for her.

They say she has been known to frequent the Lansdowne and Reynolds Road area of Lexington.
