Golden Alert cancelled for missing Lexington man

LEXINGTON, Ky. (8:00 P.M.) (WTVQ) – Lexington Police have cancelled a golden alert that was issued early Saturday for a missing Lexington man.

Police say 57-year-old Steven Thornbury has been found and is safe and in good health.


LEXINGTON, Ky. (11:30 A.M.) (WTVQ) – The Lexington Police Department has issued a golden alert for a missing 57-year-old Lexington man.

Police say Steven Thornbury was last seen at his apartment at the 3700 block of Crosby Drive around 9:15 A.M. Saturday.

Police say Thornbury suffers from a brain injury.

Thornbury is around 5’10, 215 pounds and has gray hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki pants.

Police say he may be heading to Chinoe Road and Alumni Drive area.

Anyone who see Thornbury or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
