God’s Pantry expands its Thanksgiving food distribution

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – God’s Pantry Food Bank is expanding its community-side Thanksgiving distribution beyond Fayette County this year.

Sharing Thanksgiving has been expanded to include residents who have been referred by community agencies in Laurel, Rowan and Floyd County.

God’s Pantry Food Bank says it is with the help of Kentucky Bank that the program will not only serve more than 4,000 Fayette County families, but also provide 750 additional boxes to families in nearby counties.

The Thanksgiving box includes a turkey, fresh potatoes, onions, eggs, butter, stuffing, cornbread, gravy, corn and anything else needed to create a Thanksgiving meal.

Fayette County Distributions will take place at Southland-Richmond Rd Campus at 2349 Richmond Road, Lexington, KY 40502. Monday and Tuesday, November 19-20 from 10 am-12 pm, 1 pm-3 pm and 4 pm-6pm.
