Georgetown police searching for high school burglar
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Georgetown Police are asking for your help in identifying a man they say broke into Scott County High School this week and stole cash.
Police say the man broke into Scott County High School early Tuesday morning and stole cash and multiple cash boxes from the school’s cafeteria.

Police say the suspect broke into the school through an unsecured door, walked into the cafeteria and stole a small amount of cash.
Police say they believe the suspect is in his late teens or early 20’s and could be a current or former student of Scott County High.
“We haven’t had many interviews with students. Nobody has come forward with additional information as of yet but we’re hopeful with the news media attention it will come to light shortly,” said Officer Ben Martin with the Georgetown Police Department.
Police are asking anyone who may recognize the man in the video or have any other information in regard to the burglary call Georgetown police.
