Georgetown, Scott County EMA push hotline

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Due to technical difficulties, the help/hotline set up at the Scott County Emergency Management office is urging residents to use two numbers — 502-867-2004 and 502-867-2005 — to call for assistance.

The Helpline is at EMA to assist individuals who are self-isolated because:

— of  a compromised immune system
— they are elderly and must limit contact with the public
— have been instructed by medical professionals to self quarantine

First responders urge residents to only use this helpline if they have no other option for assistance, according to the city’s Facebook page.

The phones are manned by volunteers and staffs from different city and county agencies.
