Georgetown Gas Station Clerk Robbed at Gunpoint

A Georgetown convenience store clerk is speaking out about a terrifying moment on the job. Sabrina Fowler works at the Shell Station on East Main Street in Georgetown. She was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night. Fowler, who  has only been working at the store for two months, said a man walked in armed with a gun walked in shortly after 11 p.m. and demanded cash from her drawer. Fowler found herself pleading for her life.

“The first thing he told me to do is don’t push any alarms," said Fowler. "I threw my hands up. He told me to get on the floor so I went to get on the floor and he came around the counter and I thought ‘this is it, you’re never gonna see your children again. "

Fowler said the man got away with only a small amount cash. Despite this scary experience, Fowler told us she will be back at work Friday night . She also said she is confident the Georgetown Police Department will catch the suspect soon.
