Georgetown concert event encourages vaccination effort

GEORGETOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Cardome Renaissance Center is presenting “COVID-FREE Concerts at Cardome” to support the community and encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. Tickets are free to those who have been fully vaccinated or choose to get their first or second shot at the concert.

The concerts, sponsored by HighBridge Springs Water and the Troubadour Concert Series, will be located at 800 Cincinnati Road in Georgetown. Gates will open at 5 p.m.

The venue says, “Sure, vaccinations are a personal matter, everyone needs to be free to make their own decisions. This project is specifically for those who are comfortable, ready and willing. The goal is to encourage our world to open up again … and to provide the safest environment to do so.”

To qualify for a free ticket to the concerts, visitors need their vaccination card, a recent COVID-19 test from within 48 hours, and a confirmation email.

If concertgoers are traveling from out of town, Cardome encourages to get a COVID-19 test before coming to the event.

Tickets are available by choosing which show you want to attend and filling out the event’s form on their website. Each person attending a show must fill out a separate reservation.
