Gas Line Leak Evacuates Several Homes And Businesses In Danville

The Danville Police Department tells ABC 36 that they are working on a gas line leak in downtown Danville. Police have evacuated several homes and business near North 1st and North 2nd on West Broadway.

They are asking people to avoid the area until it’s fixed.

The gas leak is about 3 inches long and does not appear to be a major leak.

Chief Gray says it maybe an hour before the gas line is fixed.
