Funerals held for victims of wrong-way crash

OWENTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A difficult moment to watch today as five caskets made their way out of an Owenton church.

The bodies of five of the six people killed in a wrong way wreck this weekend on I-75 were buried today: 30-year-old Catherine Greene, her sons, five-year-old Brayden and two-year-old Jack and their step-sisters, 11-year-old Santanna and nine-year-old Karmen.

The Fayette County Coroner said 38-year-old Jamaica Caudill from Madison County hit the Greene family head on going south in the northbound lane of I-75, near exit 104. She died at the scene.

The Lexington Police Department is still investigating why the wreck happened.
