Funeral arrangements set for Trooper killed in crash

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – Funeral arrangements have been set for the Kentucky State Trooper who was killed in a Larue Co. crash Friday.
Troopers say Sergeant David Gibbs lost control around a sharp, slick curve on Campbellsville Road.  His cruiser went into oncoming traffic and was hit.

Sergeant Gibbs, was a 17-year veteran of the Kentucky State Police.  A visitation will be held Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. in Elizabethtown.  Another visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.  The funeral is at 1:00 p.m. at Severns Valley Baptist Church.
