Funeral arrangements announced for Ky boy swept away in Tn flash flood

EDDYVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ)- Funeral arrangements have been announced for two-year-old Steven James Pierce from Eddyville who was found dead this week after being swept away Sunday in flood waters.

The Jackson County, Tennessee Emergency Management agency says a family member was carrying Pierce because the Cummins Falls State Park was being evacuated. He was carried away in high water.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Lakeland Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2019 at Lakeland Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calvert City Cemetery.
