Fuel Up with Milk at Meals – UK Extension

Katie Solove sits down with Jeanie Najor, with UK Extension, to talk about the benefits of upping your milk intake, if you aren’t lactose-intolerant.

Najor talks about the importance of consuming dairy products, and de-mystifies the nutritional content of low-fat versus full-fat dairy.  She also offers some great alternatives for upping your dairy intake if a glass of milk just won’t do it for you.  Finally, Najor has some suggestions for people who suffer lactose-intolerance, saying that certain aged cheeses, and some yogurts can do the trick.
