Frozen treats from Lexington Police will continue because of donation

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say they recently ran out of frozen treats they handed out during events, neighborhood meetings and other community related activities.

But they say Fla-Vor-Ice came through this week with a very generous donation and they are back in the game.

Police say over the past two years officials has handed out over 150,000 frozen treats to neighborhoods and at events across Lexington.

If you would like to help add to their supply, pop donations (in their unfrozen state, preferably in a box) can be dropped off at police Headquarters or West Sector Roll Call M – F during normal business hours.

For large donations, contact Officer Ryan Holland by emailing
