Frenchburg man killed in crash

MENIFEE COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that left a man dead in Menifee County.

Troopers say it happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday on Kentucky 1274.

According to state police, 43-year-old William Johnson of Frenchburg lost control of his Ford Ranger went off the road and hit an embankment.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say he was not wearing a seat belt.
