Franklin Co. Sheriff: Narcotics investigation leads to arrest

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Franklin Co. Sheriff says that an investigation by narcotics detectives has led to an arrest.

According to the Sheriff, detectives were investigating the sale of narcotics at the Comptons Apartments on Reilly Road.

The Sheriff says as a result of that investigation, David “Cheese” Wideman, 23, was arrested.

He has been charged with two counts of trafficking in heroin, and being a persistent felony offender.
