Frankfort Police Department gives Franklin County Sheriff’s Office three police cruisers

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says thank you to Frankfort Police for giving them three cruisers.

They say they are working on removing the city decals and prepping them to add to the department’s fleet.

Deputies say that this is a temporary fix to the ongoing car shortage at the sheriff’s office.

The department says there will still be 24-hour patrol, but the cars may appear different as the donated cruisers will remain black and white.
