Fourth Bank Robbery In Two Weeks In Lexington
Lexington Police said two men robbed a Fifth Third Bank branch on Versailles Road and Village Drive Wednesday afternoon.
Investigators said the men walked in, one of them showed a gun, demanded money, got it and they both left.
No one was hurt.
It was the fourth bank robbery in the last two weeks in Lexington.
On October 1, a First Security Bank was robbed in Hamburg Pavilion.
On October 3, a Peoples Exchange Bank on Main Street was robbed.
On October 7, a Whitaker Bank branch on West Lowry Lane was hit.
Police were trying to determine if any of the robberies were connected.
No arrests had been made in any of the robberies.
