Four people arrested after police chase in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)-

Four people are behind bars Sunday night after leading police on a chase through four counties.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says Dakiuan Miller, Howard Jones, Kelsey Pycraft, and Kylie Mccomb were in a car going more than 100 miles per hour near Frankfort.

A deputy tried to pull the car over on I-64 near mile marker 53, but the car just kept going.

During the chase, someone threw items out of the car.

Deputies say the car eventually crashed on Newtown Pike as it tried to turn onto New Circle Road.

Then, according to deputies, the people inside got out of the car and ran, but officers caught them.

Luckily, no one was hurt.
