Four dead and three injured after shooting in Florence home

FLORENCE, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) – Four people have died after a shooting at a home Saturday morning.

According to Florence Police, multiple calls came in for an active shooter just before 3 a.m.

Upon arrival, seven people were found inside the home.

Police say four people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Three more were taken to the hospital and are in critical but stable condition.

The victims have been identified as 20-year-old Shane Miller, 20-year-old Hayden Rybicki, 19-year-old Delaney Eary, and 44-year-old Melissa Parrett.

According to police, the suspect was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.

Police say the suspect then fled the scene and was later found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead.

He has been identified as 21-year-old Chase Garvey.
