Foul play suspected in disappearance of Lincoln County woman

WAYNESBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – Crews were out Tuesday morning with cadaver dogs, searching an area of southern Lincoln County for a missing woman.

Lincoln County Sheriff Kurt Folger says crews did not locate April Neikirk, who disappeared April 25, and the search ended for the day.

The crews were searching the Cemetery Road area, where Neikirk was last seen.

Folger says information they are receiving about Neikirk’s disappearance leads them to believe she was killed.

He says it is likely more areas will be searched as more leads come in on the case.
