Former Scott Co. basketball star Cooper Robb transferring to EKU

LEXINGTON, Ky (WTVQ) – Back in 2018, Cooper Robb was the second-leading scorer on a Scott County basketball team who would only lose two games.

That last loss was in the Boys Sweet Sixteen championship game against Covington Catholic.

Robb committed and then played two seasons with UNC Charlotte.

While playing for the 49ers, Robb appeared started 23 games and appeared in 51.

Last season, he finished second in Conference USA in three-point field goal percentage in league games.

He also finished second on the team and fifth in Conference USA with 46 steals.

Over the weekend, Robb announced he is bringing his talents back to the bluegrass to play for A.W. Hamilton and the EKU Colonels.

ABC 36’s Austin Miller caught up with Robb on his decision to transfer to EKU.
