Former Paintsville Doctor Sentenced To Prison
Former Paintsville doctor, Richard Albert, 66, was sentenced to 75-months in prison after admitting he illegally dispensed approximately 50,000 prescription pills to people in Eastern Kentucky, according to federal prosecutors.
Albert also agreed to forfeit more than $630,000, which represents proceeds from his conspiracy and pay $100,000 in community restitution, according to prosecutors.
