Former Menifee Co. teacher in jail again
CLARK CO., Ky. (WTVQ) – A former Menifee County teacher accused of snorting a pill in her classroom is in jail again. This time, in Clark County.
According to an arrest warrant, Cherish Rednour, 42, was supposed to be in court in Menifee County on a wanton endangerment charge, but failed to appear.
She was found and arrested in Clark County on Sunday.
Rednour, a former teacher, was arrested in February after supposedly snorting a pill in her classroom at Menifee Elementary.
Police say students saw Rednour cut up a pill with a credit card, make a line, snort it and slump over her desk.
Rednour is facing three drug-related charges and was indicted on the wanton endangerment charge after the Menifee County sheriff says she was deemed unfit to care for her class.
She is being held in the Clark County Detention Center.
