Fleming County woman badly hurt in Rowan County crash

SHARKEY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police in Rowan County say a woman was badly hurt in a crash on KY 158.

Troopers say the woman went off the road in hit a tree. She was airlifted to UK hospital. Troopers say she is listed in critical and unstable condition. They say she was the only person inside the car during the crash.

She’s been identified as 23-year-old Michelle Gulley, of Flemingsburg.

On November 22, 2015 at 1519 HRS Kentucky State Police Post 8 was notified of an injury accident on KY 158 in Rowan County. Trooper Jason Smith, Rowan County EMS, Rowan County Fire Department responded to the scene. Upon investigation it was determined, Michelle Gulley, 23, of Flemingsburg, was traveling north on KY 158 operating a 2001, Buick Century, when she left the roadway and crossed the center line colliding with a tree on the opposite side of the roadway. Ms. Gulley was airlifted to UK hospital in Lexington, KY where she is listed in critical and unstable condition. Ms. Gulley was the only occupant inside of the vehicle at the time of the collision. This accident remains under investigation by Trooper Jason Smith.
