Flash Flood Watch in effect through early tonight

Overview: A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect until 11pm tonight, with localized flooding possible. A cluster of thunderstorms will move across Central and Eastern Kentucky tonight, as a cold front moves across the region. Pleasant temperatures and more sunshine will return for Friday, with a high temperature of 72 degrees. Another cold front will move through the region Friday night into Saturday morning, bringing another chance for rain showers for the first half of your Saturday. Much cooler air returns for the weekend, with a high of 60 degrees on Saturday, and 61 degrees on Sunday.

TONIGHT: A cold front will move across the area tonight, with rain and thunderstorm chances early. The biggest threat looks to be localized flooding, with a FLASH FLOOD WATCH in effect. Overnight low temperatures will be around 55 degrees.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies return for Friday afternoon, with a pleasant high temperature of 72 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be possible as another cold front moves across the region Friday night into early Saturday. Overnight low temperatures will be around 52 degrees.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be possible, with a cooler high temperature of 60 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Chilly air returns for Saturday night, with partly cloudy skies and a low temperature of 39 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies return for Sunday, with a high temperature of 61 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Clouds will increase, with a low temperature of 42 degrees.

MONDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be around for Monday, with a high temperature of 66 degrees. There will be a chance for a few late day rain showers.

MONDAY NIGHT: Skies will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low temperature of 53 degrees. A few scattered rain showers will be possible as well.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will develop for Tuesday, with a high temperature of 73 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be around for Tuesday night, with a low temperature of 59 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers will be around for Wednesday, with a high temperature of 75 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies and a few rain showers continue for Wednesday night, with a low temperature of 58 degrees.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy skies and a few rain showers will be possible, with a warm high temperature of 78 degrees.
