Flags lowered to half-staff for fall firefighters Sunday

FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Both American and Kentucky flags will be lowered at half-staff Sunday in the honor of National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.

The service in Maryland will honor 92 firefighters who died in the line of duty in 2018 and 27 firefighters who died in the line of duty in previous years.

All individuals, businesses, organizations and government agencies are encouraged to join.
