First-time Transy students move onto campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Traffic around Transylvania University is likely to be a little more hectic Friday, as new students find their places in their dorms.

Entering first-year students are required to participate in a three-week August term that prepares them for scholastic success at the University.

During the three-week term, new students are oriented to college life; work with student leaders, faculty and staff; and learn their way around campus while exploring the Lexington community.
