Firefighters investigate possible chemical exposure in apartment building

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) — Police and firefighters are investigating a possible chemical exposure on Gribbin Drive, after police were called about possible narcotics manufacturing in the building.

Police say they were called about a chemical odor in the building, which the caller claimed was from narcotics.

At this time, police have not found evidence to substantiate that claim.

One occupant was decontaminated by fire crews, but police say he was not hurt.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
