Fire destroys part of Lexington apartment complex

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – An apartment complex caught fire early Saturday morning.

Lexington Fire Department said it happened around 4:30 a.m. at the Colts Run Apartments on Maple leaf Drive.

Everyone was able to get out safely and there were no injuries.

Firefighters say two apartments have fire damage and the apartment’s management is helping them find a place to stay.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
