Fire damages Lexington apartment building

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Four apartments were damaged in a fire at a Lexington apartment complex on Thursday afternoon.

The fire started just after 3 p.m. at the Stone Bridge Apartments on Village Drive.

According to the Lexington Fire Department, the fire was started by workers soldering water lines.

One person suffered a minor injury but did not want to be taken to the hospital.

No word yet on the extent of the damage or how many tenants were displaced by the fire.
