Fight outside Applebee’s leads to arrest

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Danville police take a man into custody after they say he pointed a gun at people outside an Applebee’s Saturday night.

According to police, they got a call at around 11:45 p.m. about a fight in an Applebee’s parking lot. They were told one person had a gun.

When police got to the scene, they say witnesses told them 22-year-old Alfred Shane Briscoe of Harrodsburg was making threats toward the victims then pointed a gun at them during a fight.

They say Briscoe was found and arrested a short time later and charged with wanton endangerment, terroristic threatening and menacing.
