FCPS to experience email outage during spring break
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – During spring break (March 31 – April 8), Fayette County Public Schools will be working with the state to upgrade its email system.
Although the district says it’s looking forward to the improvements, there will be a significant system outage while the work is happening.
This means teachers, staff, and students will not have access to email and several other resources.
While you can still email district and school staff, they will not be able to check their email or respond until after spring break.
The FCPS Website (http://www.fcps.net) will be working during the upgrades.
The district will be working with FCPS Law Enforcement to make sure the community and staff can contact them during the outage, if needed.
The school system says it will also work to make sure the tip lines function during the outage.
If you need to contact FCPS Law Enforcement during spring break, call 859-381-4200.
The district says it appreciates everyone’s understanding as it goes through this process.
