Fayette County Public Schools dismissing two hours early Friday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In light of winter storm watch calling for a mix of freezing rain and ice during the late afternoon and early evening tomorrow, all Fayette County Public Schools will dismiss two hours early on Friday, January 12, 2018. Buses will run regular afternoon routes, just two hours later than usual.

Morning preschool sessions will take place as usual and students will ride home on their regular buses, but afternoon preschool sessions are cancelled. Morning technical school classes will take place as scheduled but afternoon technical school sessions will be cancelled.

All evening and afterschool activities are cancelled.
