UPDATE: Names of brothers involved in fatal shooting released

UPDATE: ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police now know the names of the two brothers involved in a fatal shooting Tuesday on Pryse Road.

Police say 29-year-old Edward Daniel Tipton Jr. is charged with murder after he shot and killed his 24-year-old brother, Travis Tipton.

Travis Tipton was pronounced dead on the scene by the Estill County Coroner. His autopsy will be done in Frankfort.

Edward Daniel Tipton Jr. is in court at this time. We will continue to update you as we receive new information.

ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- A fight between two brothers led to one shooting and killing the other in Estill County, according to the coroner.

It happened Tuesday morning off Pryse Road.

The coroner says the mother of the men was inside the house at the time.  She wasn’t hurt.

No names were immediately released.

An autopsy will be done in Frankfort.
