Fatal crash kills two

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – State police are investigating a fatal crash in Hopkins County.

Troopers say Saturday afternoon 40-year-old Sonja Adams was driving on I-69 when she hit 80-year-old Maynard Pemberton’s car head on.

According to troopers, Pemberton wasn’t wearing a seat belt, Adams was, but the coroner pronounced them both dead on the scene.
