Fans react and rejoice as UK beats LSU 42-21 on Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – On Saturday, Lexington was colored blue and white all afternoon as the cats took on LSU. The final score for the game was 42-21.

It was an exciting game for people who have lived here their whole life and for also for solid blue fans from out of state.

“I came from a family of die hard UK fans so I grew up with my family beating things screaming at the TV total UK madness,” says Brianna Fischer.

“There’s so much to celebrate there’s the game there’s the comradery the team it’s a community. Everybody is here for the same reason I mean you would think that I was from here look at me,” adds Sara Fischer.

The cats scored double the points made by the tigers, which resulted in a big celebration for the University of Kentucky

“It’s one of the biggest achievements here in UK football in the last 50 years,” says Nate Snuggerud.

“A couch burning is definitely justified,” add Fischer.
