Fall-like and tranquil weather through the work week
Calm conditions continue into the work week
On Monday, we’re trending slightly above average, but still very mild, in the mid-70s. We’ll have just a few clouds throughout the day, but still plenty of sunshine. A light northern breeze will help give a fall-like feel to the air. This will repeat nearly each day this week, with some slight cooling towards the mid-week. Thursday, we may be cooler in the upper 60s, but after that we will quickly warm up ahead of our weekend back into the 70s.
The next pattern change ahead
This weekend, a cold front is forecast to move through the Bluegrass. This would bring a warm-up ahead of some rain chances for both Saturday and Sunday. Details are still unclear as there is a lot of time for the forecast to change. However, it is looking likely that we will see some sort of rainfall during the weekend, along with a cooldown following the cold front’s passage. This will be important to watch if you have any outdoor weekend plans or if you’re heading to the UK homecoming game. We’ll continue to track rain chances through the week.
