Facility expansion to bring more jobs to Cynthiana
CYNTHIANA, Ky. (WTVQ) – A commercial truck body manufacturer plans to invest nearly $7 million and create 100 jobs with an expansion of its facility in Harrison County, according to the state.
The parent company of E-Z Pack Refuse Hauling Solutions LLC, is negotiating to buy the 350,000 square foot facility that it has leased the last dozen years, according to the state.
E-Z Pack shares the facility with sister company Continental Mixers.
E-Z Pack, with its sister company One Source Parts, is launching a new product line and will manufacture and sell front-discharge drums and service parts for the ready mix industry, which will contribute to the creation of the new salaried and hourly jobs.
Company leaders expect work on the project to begin in mid-2018 with completion by the end of 2020.
E-Z Pack currently employs 240 people in Harrison County.
