Eric Burke sits down with Chef Ouita Michel and Rebecca Self as they discuss a unique new event to spotlight great food from phenomenal chefs while tackling today’s tough questions about our food system.
The event features 6 highly accomplished and James Beard celebrated women chefs, including Central Kentucky’s Ouita Michel, along with Abra Berens, from Chicago; Jamilka Borges from Pittsburgh; Joy Crump from Frederickburg; Amy Brandwein from Chicago; and Asha Gomez from Atlanta. Each will be preparing a unique dish exemplifying the chef’s distinct style. The event will also feature local drinks with Woodford Reserve, West Sixth Brewery, along with wine.
