Ex-Toyota Worker Convicted Of Hacking Network At Georgetown Plant
A disgruntled, ex-employee at Toyota in Georgetown faces prison time for hacking into the company’s computer system.
36-year old Brahmishah Shahulameed was convicted this week of damaging the network on purpose.
After he was fired back in 2012, Shahulameed used a company laptop to hack into Toyota’s programming systems.
The automaker said it took several months to fix all the damage.
Shahulameed faces up to ten years in federal prison.
