Evarts man killed in motorcycle accident

HARLAN, Ky. (WTVQ) – State Police say 36-year old Morrice Petrey of Evarts was killed Tuesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding crossed the center line of Ky 38 in Harlan County and collided with a pickup truck.

Investigators say Petrey was pronouned dead at the scene.  State Police he was not wearing a helmet.  The driver of the pickup, Lloyd Fleenor, Junior, was not hurt, according to investigators.

The collision is still under investigation, according to State Police.
