Evacuations After Gas Leak on Winnipeg Court

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Columbia Gas are wrapping up repair on a two-inch gas line leak on Winnipeg Court.

The Lexington Fire Department says the leak was discovered at about 11:30 a.m.

Firefighters says a utility company truck hit the gas line, causing the rupture.  Officials declined to name the company associated with the truck

According to firefighters, seven houses were in line to be evacuated, but occupants were only in one of them.
