Estill County Schools go on lockdown
ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Estill County Schools were placed on a lockdown Wednesday afternoon.
According to school officials, the lockdown was ordered after someone called 911 dispatch around 1:21 p.m. and made a threat concerning a school shooting.
The board of education says it was a “non specific threat” and all county schools were locked down as a precaution.
School officials says all schools were checked.
The schools dismissed at regular time on Wednesday.
