Estill Co. Fire Dept. investigates fire at vacant home

IRVINE, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Estill Co. Fire Department is investigating a fire that started around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday in a vacant home.

Firefighters say when they arrived at the home on Millers Creek Road, the back half of the house had been destroyed.

No one lived in the house, which was in the process of being sold.

No one was injured in the fire.  Firefighters have not said where the flames began, or how the fire got started.
