Escaped inmate arrested in Scott Co.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – State corrections officials say an inmate that walked away from the minimum security prison in Lexington last month has been arrested.

Officials say 56-year old Calvin Myers, was serving 45-years for convictions out of Monroe and Christian counties for mail theft, identity theft, forgery and other charges.

According to Blackburn Correctional Complex officials Myers was arrested in Scott County on Wednesday at 11:45 p.m.

He is lodged in the Scott County Detention center, officials say.
