Erlanger company reaches settlement over alleged pay discrimination violations.

ERLANGER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The U.S. Department of Labor announced Thursday it has reached a settlement with an Erlanger company for alleged pay discrimination violations.

The U.S. Department of Labor says Meggitt LLC agreed to pay $161,126 after investigators found women at the facility were making less than men in machine operator, assembler, and molder positions.

The company also agreed to provide back pay and interest to 36 women, review employee compensation practices and make necessary adjustments to ensure equal employment opportunity for its workforce.

Meggitt LLC is a federal contractor that produces highly engineered aerospace components for jet engines and airframe applications
