Eric Conn gets an additional 15 years for escape
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – It’s an additional 15 years behind bars for Eric Conn.
A federal judge sentenced the disbarred attorney for escape at a hearing in U.S. District Court on Friday.
He was also ordered to pay millions of dollars in restitution.
Conn pleaded guilty last year to a $550 million social security scheme.
The plea agreement came with a 12-year-sentence but before he was formally sentenced, Conn fled to Central America.
He was caught after six months on the run at a Pizza Hut in Honduras.
