Equine Rescue Relief Fund breaks $1,200

HARRODSBURG, Ky. (WTVQ) – A "gofundme" page raising money for three rescued horses has made over $1,200 of a $2,000 goal.

The three horses were rescued from a farm in Mercer Co., and brought to Harrodsburg, where certified animal rescuer and rehabilitator Laura Sullivan is caring for them on her farm.  She says the three arrived in poor condition, and one is still struggling with health issues.  She says, though, that all three are showing some improvement.

The "gofundme" page aims to raise funds for hay, and veterinary care.  Any left over money will be sent with the horses when they move on to a permanent home.  The page also says they are looking for sawdust bedding and hay donations.
